This mold is not labelled as food safe, mainly because we work with different types of resin, silicone and tools that may create cross contamination with other chemicals in our little lab. Warning: Please do not use high heat producing tools such as torches or use a heat gun on the surface of the silicone mold. This can create blemishes on the surface of the mold and potentially damaging the mold. This silicone mold has a heat resistance to 250 degrees Celsius. Like all silicone molds, resin generates heat during the exothermic curing process. Over time, this heat can gradually diminish the shininess of the silicone surface with repeated uses. Usage: 1. Please follow the resin manufacturer's guideline and instructions your are using. Please do not pour above the limit set by the manufacturer. Pouring against the required level such as 1/4", 1/2", 1" may result in exothermic reactions. This can lead to wastage, damages to important encasements and potentially damaging the mold as well. 2. Please do not use sharp tools to pop bubbles on the surface, this can scratch the molds. Cured resin with bubbles on the surface can scratch the mold, please check for bubbles on the surface. 3. When cleaning your mold, please do not use sharp tools. We highly recommend that you use a piece of packing tape to remove residues, resin drips, lint etc from the mold. You can use 100% silicone oil to clean your molds on the outside. 4. Our molds are made and shipped from our little shop, while these are handmade products we strive to achieve high quality and standards. Before your order is shipped we check for imperfections in anyway that may affect the result of your work.
